Zack McCourt won his way to the final at the Lakewood Ranch Invitational clay-court event Sunday, in Sarasota, Fla., but Florida Gulf Coast's Jordi Vives took home the title with a 6-4, 6-1 win.
The event was the last of the fall for Princeton, which will open its dual-match schedule Jan. 30 at William & Mary.
McCourt upended two ITA-ranked opponents on his way to the final of the three-day event, which also included teammate Mohamed El Tonbari.
