Former Tiger Mike Condon Elevates His Game in the Pros

READING, PA. — For many college alums in their first full year of professional hockey, their alma mater is still never far from their mind. Being a goaltender, Mike Condon gets to take that a little more literally than others.

Condon, 23, signed with the Montreal Canadiens this season after four years with the Princeton University men's hockey team. Currently playing two levels down from the National Hockey League in the ECHL with the Wheeling Nailers, the personable native of Needham, Ma. still wears his old Tigers mask until he can get a new one from Montreal.
