Men's Soccer Heads to Barcelona on International Training Trip

PRINCETON, N.J. (3/13/13) - The men's soccer team departs on a European trip on Saturday, March 16 during the University's spring break. The team will visit Barcelona, Spain during its nine-day excursion.
The team is scheduled to leave JFK airport on Saturday, March 16 and arrive in Spain on Sunday, March 17 in the early morning.
The Tigers will get right into touring the city and then take in the La Liga game Bacelona versus Rayo Callecano game that evening.
On Tuesday, the team will tour Nou Camp Stadium & the Museum, home of FC Barcelona. That evening the team will play its first of four friendlies, against Igualada C.F. of 1st Division Catalonia.
Princeton will also play Gava C.F. and Rubi U.E. of the 3rd National Division; and Viladecans U.D. of the 4th Division Catalonia.
Sightseeing stops in the next few days include Parc Guell, Sagrada Familia and Benedictine Monastery of Montserrat.
Princeton departs Barcelona on Sunday, March 24 at 9 a.m., for a return flight to JFK.
