Women's Sprint Medley Relay Sets Princeton Record

CELEBRATION, Fla. (3/24/13) - The Princeton women's sprint medley relay set a program record as the Tigers competed at the Walt Disney World Invitational in Celebration, Fla.
The relay of seniors Abidemi Adenikinju, Erin Guty and Joie Hand and sophomore Cecilia Barowski clocked a 3:59.21. It erases an 11-year record of 3:59.55 set by Susan Coltman '04, Leslie Warren '05, Hasina Outtz '04 and Lauren Simmons '02 from 2002.
Adenikinju and Guty made up two legs of the 4x100 that posted a winning time of 48.45. They were joined on the relay by sophomore Joanna Anyanwu and freshman Sara Ronde.
Princeton went 1-2-3-4-5 in the 10,000. Sophomore Jackie Nicholas won the event with a time of 36:37.09. She was followed by junior Marissa Cummings with a PR of 36:37.20, sophomore Erika Fluehr 36:37.25, sophomore Emily de La Bruyere 36L37.29 and sophomore Lindsay Eysenbach 37:00.76.
Hand was third in the 400 hurdles clocking a 1:02.33. Sophomore Kim Mackay was fourth at 1:02.66, and freshman Meghan McMullin earned points in the scored meet as well, with a 1:04.97.
