Graff, Flanigan, Cannon Earn All-Ivy Honors
May 02, 2013 | Women's Tennis
Lindsay Graff, Katherine Flanigan and Joan Cannon represented Princeton on the All-Ivy League women's tennis teams, which the Ivy League office announced Thursday.
Graff earned unanimous first-team All-Ivy honors in singles, while Flanigan was a second-team All-Ivy honoree in singles. Cannon earned second-team All-Ivy doubles recognition with Graff.
Graff went 7-4 in fall singles and followed it up with a 12-7 record in the spring, winning eight of her last 10 matches while compiling a 5-2 Ivy record, all at the top singles spot. Graff was a second-team All-Ivy singles pick last year and a first-team All-Ivy doubles pick last year with Hilary Bartlett '12.
Flanigan received her first All-Ivy honor. She went 6-2 in the fall and 12-6 in the spring, including 4-3 in Ivy matches, all at second singles.
Cannon and Graff won their only fall doubles match in which they were paired together and were 5-0 in the spring. In Ivy League matches, Cannon and Graff went 3-0, taking victories against Harvard, Dartmouth and Cornell on the top singles court.
Princeton finished 12-7 overall and 4-3 in the Ivy League, remaining in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association top-75 from their first dual match through their last.
