Holmes is one of two Princetonians on the U.S. women's epee team along with Maya Lawrence '02. Holmes' teammate, Eliza Stone, is a strong candidate to join her in Hungary with the U.S. women's saber team, as is another Princeton alumnus, Soren Thompson '05, with the U.S. men's epee team.
The competition will be held Aug. 5-12.
Holmes and Stone helped Princeton win its first combined men's/women's NCAA title this past March, both earning All-America accolades with Holmes placing fifth ant Stone winning the NCAA saber title.
