Women's Tennis Program Announces Annual Awards

The Princeton women's tennis program named its annual honorees at its recent team banquet, the culmination of their 2012-13 season.
The team also honored its lone senior, Monica Chow, a four-year member of the singles lineup and an All-Ivy League doubles selection during her career. As a junior, she clinched wins over both Harvard and Cornell, and as a senior, Chow was team captain and played at third singles.
Sophomore Lindsay Graff won the Leon Lapidus Award, which is given annually to the women's tennis team member who has achieved the highest degree of excellence and demonstrated the greatest dedication throughout the entire season. Graff was the team's No. 1 singles player throughout the Ivy League season in 2013, compiling a 6-1 record against league foes.
Sophomore Joan Cannon received the Lewis S. Kraft Award, given annually to the member of the women's team who has done the most to advance the interests of Princeton University. Cannon played sixth singles for the Tigers this past season, going 4-3.
