| Ten Princeton Men's Lacrosse Facts |
• Princeton first played men's lacrosse on Oct. 14, 1882, and has an all-time record of 648-449-19.
• Princeton has won six NCAA championships (1992, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2001), four USILA national championships (1937, 1942, 1951, 1952) and two other recognitions as national champion (1884, 1885).
• Princeton remains the last team to win three consecutive NCAA championships.
• Princeton averaged 12.1 goals per game in 2013, its highest single-season total since 1998.
• The 2014 Tigers will have nine returning starters from last season, with only All-Ivy League attackman Jeff Froccaro's having graduated. Princeton will also return two other players who have been starters in the past who missed 2013 to injury.
• Princeton has produced seven of the last 13 Ivy League Rookies of the Year, including the most recent one, Jake Froccaro, who had 24 goals and 10 assists in 2013.
• Princeton will return four players who had at least 24 goals last season (Mike MacDonald, Tom Schreiber, Kip Orban, Jake Froccaro).
• Tom Schreiber has led Princeton in scoring each of his first three seasons. Should he do so in 2014, he would join Kevin Lowe '94 and Ryan Boyle '04 as the only players to lead the team in scoring for four straight years.
• Freshman defenseman Mark Strabo and freshman midfielder Jake Froccaro started all 15 games in 2013. Freshman attackman Ryan Ambler started 13 games, missing two to injury. Freshman goalie Matt O'Connor started 11 games.
• Princeton will start 2014 with two new coaches, as Greg Raymond left to be the head coach at Hobart and Michael Podgajny left coaching.
