Krems Claims Three Medals at Maccabiah Games
August 01, 2013 | Women's Tennis
Incoming women's tennis freshman Sivan Krems won three bronze medals at the just-concluded Maccabiah Games in Israel.
Krems claimed the medals in the U-19 division in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. The medals contributed to the United States' runner-up status behind Israel in the juniors division as the Americans took home 73 medals including 25 bronze.
Krems, a five-star recruit as rated by TennisRecruiting.net, is ranked No. 64 in the U.S. in her class, including No. 26 in California. Krems helped Princeton attain that Web site's ranking of the No. 7 recruiting class in the nation, along with classmates Alanna Wolff, Caroline Joyce and Dorothy Tang.
The Tigers will begin their second year under head coach Laura Granville in September.
