Women's Golf to Host Princeton Invitational Saturday, Sunday

The penultimate tournament of the fall season for the Princeton women's golf team will have the familiar surroundings of Springdale Golf Club as the team hosts the Princeton Invitational Saturday and Sunday.
The tournament is the 17th edition and was first held in 1997. Princeton has won eight of the first 16 titles, most recently in 2007. That was also the last year a Princeton player won the individual title, when Susannah Aboff '09 finished first.
There will be new team and individual champions this year, as Harvard, which won the 2013 event by 12 shots over Princeton, is not a part of the 12-team field this year. The Crimson's Tiffany Lim won at -4 by three shots over Columbia's Michelle Piyapattra.
Brown, Columbia, Dartmouth, Delaware, Lehigh, Navy, Penn, Rollins, St. John's, Seton Hall and Yale will join Princeton in the field, which will begin Saturday at 8 a.m. for two rounds of play. Sunday's final round will also have an 8 a.m. first tee time on the par-72, 6,128-yard course.

Second-day tee times: 6th/5th/4th-place teams 8 a.m. (1st hole), 3rd/2nd/1st-place teams 8:40 a.m. (1st hole), Individuals 9:20 a.m. (1st hole), 12th/11th/10th-place teams 8:30 a.m. (10th hole), 9th/8th/7th-place teams 9:10 a.m. (10th hole)
