Four Tigers Set to Compete in USTA/ITA Regional
October 14, 2014 | Women's Tennis
The Princeton women's tennis team will send four players to Yale for the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional with main-draw play beginning Friday.
Amanda Muliawan, Dorothy Tang, Caroline Joyce and Katrine Steffensen will all play in the singles event, while Muliawan will pair with Tang and Joyce will team with Steffensen for doubles.
The event will run through Tuesday. Main-draw doubles and singles draws are posted on this page.
Last year at Harvard, Princeton advanced Sivan Krems, Alanna Wolff and Dorothy Tang to the singles Round of 32, and Tang and Katherine Flanigan and Lindsay Graff and Alanna Wolff advanced to the Round of 32 in doubles.
After the tournament, Princeton will have one more weekend of play on the second weekend of November. From Nov. 7-9, Princeton will send players to the Northwestern Invitational in Illinois, the Lakewood Ranch Invitational in Florida, and, for any Tigers that qualify, the USTA/ITA Nationals in New York.
