Tang, Muliawan Advance in USTA/ITA Regional Doubles Play

Doubles play got underway Friday for the Princeton women's tennis team at the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional with one of the team's two duos advancing through to the Round of 16.
Amanda Muliawan and Dorothy Tang won twice to advance, while Caroline Joyce and Katrine Steffensen came up short in their first-round match against national No. 19 Tina Jiang and Crystal Leung of Columbia.
Play will continue Saturday when singles will get underway with the first matches beginning at 8 a.m. at Yale. All four Tigers who competed in doubles Friday are in the main-draw singles bracket.
