| 1979 | Under original head coach Susana Occhi, Princeton tops Penn to win its first of an Ivy-best 14 league titles. |
| 1982 | Glenn Nelson takes over as the head coach, a position he would hold for 27 seasons and 11 Ivy titles. |
| 1984 | Princeton wins a program-record 33 matches, as well as its fifth Ivy title in a six-year span. |
| 1990 | Kristi Hakman '92 earns Princeton's first of four Ivy League Player of the Year awards. |
| 1997 | Ayesha Attoh '98 joins Kristi Hakman '92 as the program's only four-time first-team All-Ivy League honorees. Princeton tops Dartmouth 3-2 for the Ivy League title. |
| 1999 | Sabrina King '01 wins Player of the Year, while Michelle Buffum '03 wins Rookie of the Year. Princeton reclaims the Ivy League title with a 3-2 win over Harvard. |
| 2007 | Princeton becomes the first team to complete a perfect 14-0 Ivy League season. Parker Henritze becomes the first Princeton player to win both Rookie of the Year (2005) and Player of the Year (2007). |
| 2008 | Glenn Nelson wins his 580th and final women's volleyball match 3-1 over Penn at Dillon Gym. He remains the all-time wins leader at Princeton. |
| 2011 | After four years as player and seven as an assistant, Sabrina King is named the program's fourth head coach. Princeton goes 18-8 and places second in the Ivy League. |
The 150th anniversary of the first intercollegiate athletic event in Princeton University history will be Nov. 22, 2014, which will be 150 years to the day that Princeton defeated Williams 27-16 in a baseball game. As part of the 150th celebration, Princeton will be commemorating the history of each of its 38 varsity teams, in reverse order of the time they became varsity programs.
