Porter and Miller Named NSCAA All-Region

Senior Cameron Porter and junior Josh Miller of the Princeton men's soccer team were named 2014 NSCAA All-Region it was announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Porter was named first-team while Miller earned third-team honors.
They are the first Tigers to earn all-region honors since its illustrious 2010 season.
The Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year, Porter remains the NCAA leader in points per game (2.00) and goals per game (0.88). He is tied for first in total goals (15) and is second in total points (34), one back from the leader who played in five more games.
Porter caps his career with 75 points on 31 goals and 13 assists in 67 games. He ranks fourth all-time in points, along with current assistant coach Jesse Marsch with 75, fourth in career goals and 12th in career assists.
Porter was a unanimous first-team selection for the second consecutive season. He scored a goal in 12 of Princeton's 17 games this season and had the game-winning goals against Loyola, Harvard, American and Yale. He was 6-for-6 in penalty kicks and had his most impressive outing against Rutgers with a five-point game on two goals and one assist. Porter was twice named the Ivy League Player of the Week, and earned two national Player of the Week honors this season.
A star on the field and in the classroom, Porter was named second-team Academic All-America honors last month.
A center back, Miller was a first-team All-Ivy League selection as a junior. The team tri-captain started 14 games, missing the first three games of the season with an injury. Miller earned an assist in a 2-2 tie at Boston University and helped to hold teams to 1.29 goals per game and to an 11.2 shooting percentage.
