Coach Billy Pate on the match: "Once again, we fought hard, but unfortunately we didn't have the execution today. It was a quick turnaround from the Clemson match and though we gave it all we had emotionally and physically this morning, it was a challenge to mount the charge we needed. Alabama came out and played inspired, and credit to them for playing well. We dug ourselves a hole early and the leads we had, we didn't sustain. Nonetheless, we have another great opportunity tomorrow against either Mississippi State or Auburn. We'll look to recover and prepare for another battle." |
