Softball to Wrap Spring Trip at Santa Clara Tournament

Princeton will face host Santa Clara, Grand Canyon and California this weekend as it closes its spring trip to the Bay Area.
The Tigers will have two games Friday, two Saturday and one Sunday. Friday's twinbill against Santa Clara and Grand Canyon will begin at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. local time, while the Tigers will face Cal and Grand Canyon beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET Saturday and Cal for a single game at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.

The Tigers enter the weekend with a record of 4-11 after splitting a pair of midweek doubleheaders at Sacramento State and Pacific. All 19 players on the roster, including all five freshmen, have seen game action. Though rookie Haley Hineman is the only player to have started all 15 games, all 19 players have made a start. Junior Rachel Rendina leads the team with 12 hits on the season, though 15 Tigers have recorded a hit through the team's first 15 games.
Two pitchers, both with more than half of their college career to go, have emerged as Princeton's innings leaders. Sophomore Shanna Christian is 2-4 with a 4.79 ERA in 30 2/3 innings and freshman Erica Nori is 2-2 with a 1.17 ERA in 30 innings.
