Box Score & Play-by-Play: Game 1 | Game 2
| In the 6-1 first-game win, Princeton capitalized on a two-out first-inning error by Santa Clara to score the first game's first run, and two singles, a walk and a passed ball added up to two more runs in the second inning. That was more than enough for Erica Nori, who allowed just four hits in a complete-game win. Princeton tacked on three more runs in the fifth on a bases-clearing double by Sarah McGowan. On the way to its 9-2 win, Grand Canyon got out to a 5-0 lead by the second inning and the Tigers weren't able to rally. Princeton got a pair of runs in the fourth, both on a home run by Skye Jerpbak, her first of the season. |
| Sarah McGowan was 2 for 2 with three RBIs in the first-game win over Santa Clara. |

| Sarah McGowan's three-run double in the fifth inning of the first game broke open a 3-1 contest and put Princeton ahead 6-1, which became the game's final margin. In the second game, the first three GCU batters reached on a double, a fielder's choice and an error, and GCU's Haley Walker had a two-run single that put her team ahead 3-0. That was enough in the team's 9-2 win. |
|
• With the Santa Clara game, Princeton won back-to-back games for the first time this season, and the five-run margin of victory was Princeton's largest of the season. |
| Princeton will face California and Grand Canyon in a doubleheader at Santa Clara beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET Saturday. |
