Box Score & Play-by-Play: Game 1 | Game 2
| In Monday's first game, Dartmouth's Kristen Rumley and Princeton's Shanna Christian put up zeroes through the first six innings, but the play of the day came in the seventh. With pinch runner Alyssa Loyless on first base, Dartmouth's Kelsey Miller hit a ball to the fence that Princeton centerfielder Rachel Rendina tried to catch over the fence but couldn't hang on. Unsure of whether the ball had been caught, Loyless parked herself at second base and Miller passed her. A conference between coaches and umpires ensued, and it was determined that Miller should be out for passing Loyless but Loyless's run would count. That was enough, as Princeton didn't score in the bottom of the seventh. In the nightcap, though Maddie Cousens had her first home run of the season in the third inning, Dartmouth rallied with two runs on three hits and a two-error play in the fourth inning before tacking on two more in the sixth and seventh to win 4-1. Rumley relieved starter Morgan McCalmon in the fifth and closed out the victory to pick up the save. |
| Maddie Cousens went 2 for 3 in the first game Monday and hit her first home run of the season in the second game. |

| The home run that wasn't was the play of the game in the opener as it gave the Big Green the only run they needed and gave the umpires and coaching staffs a reason to dust off the rulebook. Whether it was two runs or one, it was enough for Dartmouth to pick up the twinbill-opening 1-0 win. In game two, a booted ball followed by an overthrow allowed Dartmouth to score the go-ahead run in the fourth inning after already tying things up following Maddie Cousens' third-inning home run. Dartmouth tacked on two more in the sixth and seventh to win 4-1. |
