Women's Track & Field Sends Eight to ECAC Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. (3/5/14) - Eight members of the Princeton women's track & field team will compete at the 2014 ECAC Championships this weekend, March 7-9 at Boston University.

Bird qualified for the mile after clocking a 4:50.67 in the Heps final. Higgins ran a 2:54.92 at the TCNJ Lion's Invitational
Cummings and de La Bruyere both ran PR's in the 3,000 to qualify. Cummings posted a time of 9:50.51 at HYP,and de La Bruyere's 9:25.48 is from Heps.
Mackay ran the 800 just once this season and did so in a time of 2:09.75 to qualifiy. O'Neil has hovered around 2:10 all season with a best of 2:10.28 at Heps. Sims ran a season best 2:13.57 at Heps as well.
Oliver has jumped over 12 meters in the triple in all but one meet this seasn. Her best jump of the season came last weekend at Heps as she launched to 12.70
