Princeton sent off seniors Maddie Cousens and Tory Roberts with two wins Sunday over Cornell to close the 2014 season. The Tigers rallied from an early two-run deficit to score the final three runs of the opener and win 3-2. With Rachel Rendina starting the fourth inning by reaching on a mishandled ball at shortstop, Alyssa Schmidt tied the score at 2-2 with a two-run home run, her first of the season. Just an inning later, Kate Miller cashed in a one-out triple by Marissa Reynolds with an RBI-groundout, and Princeton held on for the 3-2 win. After giving up two runs on two hits and two walks in the first inning, Shanna Christian gave up only two hits and didn't walk a batter over the last six innings to get the win. |
| Maddie Cousens and Alyssa Schmidt each had a great day at the plate, with Cousens going 4 for 4 in the nightcap and Schmidt going 4 for 7 on the day while driving in six runs. Cousens' 4-for-4 nightcap came in her final game as a Tiger. |

| Alyssa Schmidt's two-run home run in the fourth inning of game one didn't bring home the go-ahead run, but it was the first hit of the day for Princeton against Alyson Onyon and it tied the score at 2-2. In game two, Schmidt had a two-run double in the second inning that gave Princeton a 4-0 lead. |

• In addition to honoring its seniors, Princeton recognized Khristin Kyllo, who entered with the Class of 2014 but passed away less than two months before the beginning of her freshman season in January 2011. In Kyllo's memory, Princeton's players wore purple socks and purple ribbons for epilepsy awarness. |
| Princeton finished its 2014 season with a record of 17-26 overall and 9-11 in the Ivy League. |
