de La Bruyere Named Capital One Academic All-District

PRINCETON, N.J. (5/29/14) - Junior Emily de La Bruyere has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District Track & Field Team it was announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America on Thursday, May 29.
de La Bruyere is a two-time U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic and two-time Academic All-Ivy League selection. She competed in the NCAA cross country national championship this past season, when she was named second-team All-Ivy League. She has twice been named all-region in cross country and was the team's No. 2 runner this past fall. A three-time Ivy League scorer in the mile, 3k and steeplechase, de Le Bruyere was injured this outdoor season. She was captain for both the cross country and track teams this year.
de La Bruyere moves on to the national ballot with the Academic All-America being announced in mid-June.
