Ku Wins Met Women's Amateur at Baltusrol
June 05, 2014 | Women's Golf
For the second time in six weeks, Princeton rising sophomore Hana Ku played at Baltusrol Golf Club and came away with an honor-worthy finish.
At the end of April, Ku tied for seventh place at the Ivy League Championship on Baltusrol's Upper Course, earning second-team All-Ivy League honors. On June 3 on the club's Lower Course, the same one that hosted the 1993 U.S. Open, the 2005 PGA Championship and will again host the PGA in 2016, Ku won the Met Women's Amateur with a single-round 70 on the strength of six birdies.
The 3-under finish topped the 83-player field by four shots over Allison Kucinski, a Notre Dame alumna and Garden State Women's Golf Hall of Famer.
