GoPrincetonTigers.com caught up with current and former Princeton fencers at the program's recent summer camp.
In the video linked above, rising sophomore Audrey Abend, Jacqueline Leahy '06 and Philip Dershwitz '14 talk about the program's success and, for the alumni, their professional pursuits.
The women's program is on a run of five straight Ivy League titles, one off the Ivy record for consecutive league women's fencing championships set by Penn in the 1980s. The men have added a pair of recent Ivy titles, in 2010 and 2012, and the programs have combined to take home a top-four NCAA trophy in each of the last four years, the only program in the nation to do so. Two seasons ago, in 2013, the program won its first combined men's and women's NCAA title, and the Tigers were the only team to finish within the top two in 2013 and in 2014.
The men's team returns five of the six competitors from the 2014 NCAA Championships, and the women's team will bring back four of its six from the most recent NCAAs.
