McCourt, Yablon Advance to Flight Finals at Farnsworth Ivy Plus

Day two of the Farnsworth Ivy Plus men's tennis tournament has wrapped up at the Lenz Tennis Center, and Princeton's results are below.
Princeton has placed two players in Sunday's singles finals, including senior Zack McCourt in the Tiger Draw, the tournament's top flight. McCourt, ranked 71st in the country, advanced to the final with a three-set win over Michigan's Alex Petrone, ranked 53rd in the nation. Columbia's Winston Lin, ranked eighth in the nation, will be McCourt's opponent in Sunday's 11 a.m. final.
Josh Yablon, in the Lenz Draw, the event's third flight, made his draw's final and will face Pepperdine's Stefan Menichella at 11 a.m.
"We had some very positive results today from several guys," Princeton coach Billy Pate said. "I felt we could have been a bit better on Friday and the guys really responded today by making needed improvements today. It is nice to see Zack and Josh in the finals of their respective flights as they really grinded through some tough opponents in getting there."
Tom Colautti in the Nassau Draw, Luke Gamble in the Jadwin Draw and Dan Richardson in the Pagoda Draw all won their flights' consolation titles.
Draws are updated on the USTA website here. Sunday's play will consist of doubles semifinals and finals beginning at 9:30 and singles main-draw finals beginning at 11 a.m. Non-bracketed consolation matches will also be played.
