Tiger Pair Advances to Doubles Final at Navy
October 10, 2015 | Women's Tennis
Princeton advanced the doubles pair of Sara Goodwin and Amber Park to the "A" flight doubles final at the Navy Blue & Gold Invitational, which will wrap Sunday in Annapolis.
Goodwin and Park defeated Delaware's Sara Komer and Arielle Shuren in a tiebreak to win their semifinal match and the Princeton pair will take on Yana Nikolaeva and Elizabeth Tsvetkov from Stony Brook in Sunday's final.
Though Princeton went 3-0 in the "A" singles flight in Friday's Round of 16 matches, two of the three Tigers lost in the quarterfinals and Goodwin, who won her quarterfinal match, fell in the semis to end Princeton's run in singles play.
