Oct. 15 TigerCast: Thomas Sanner & Anthony Gaffney
October 15, 2015 | Football, General, Men's Soccer
Two teams facing Ivy League showdowns this weekend will be featured on a mid-October edition of TigerCast. Men's soccer senior Thomas Sanner and senior cornerback Anthony Gaffney joined the Oct. 15 edition to review the seasons so far and look ahead to their Saturday matchups.
Sanner is the leading scorer for a men's soccer team that will look to remain unbeaten at home Saturday at 4 pm when it hosts Columbia on the Ivy League Digital Network. Sanner took over much of the scoring responsibility following the graduation of Cameron Porter, and he has a team-best seven goals this season.
Gaffney is a three-time All-Ivy League cornerback for Princeton, which is unbeaten on the season but is about to enter the heart of its Ivy League schedule. The Tigers begin that run at Brown, the nation's second-ranked passing offense. Gaffney talks about some of the improvements from last season and the challenges presented by the dynamic Bears' passing attack.
If you are new to TigerCast, the weekly Thursday podcast will provide an in-depth look at Princeton teams through interviews with coaches and student-athletes. The podcast will feature all 38 Tiger teams throughout the year, and there will also be information on key upcoming events during each show.
