Ku, Women's Golf Lead at Lehigh Invitational
October 18, 2015 | Women's Golf
Holding a 19-shot lead on the team leaderboard and a seven-shot lead on the individual leaderboard, the Princeton women's golf team is in good position for a successful defense of both titles at the Lehigh Invitational.
Hana Ku (-3) leads teammate Amber Wang (-1), with Lehigh's Nicole Feierberg third at +4 after one round on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club with one round to play Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Ku carded a first-round 69 while Princeton placed all six players, including one individual, in the top 15. Defending individual champion Tenley Shield is fourth overall at +5. The Tigers have had the individual champion all five times they've entered the event, with Shield winning last year, Kelly Shon '14 winning in 2013 and 2012, and Alexis Etow '07 winning in 2005.
On the team leaderboard, Princeton's 296 bettered Lehigh's 315 by 19 shots.
