Princeton soccer not messing around ahead of Ivy opener with Dartmouth

The Princeton University men's soccer team opens its Ivy League season against Dartmouth Saturday. And how important can this game be?
Well, little did the Tigers realize at the time, but last year's season opener against the Big Green sealed their fate as runner-up in the 2014 Ivy race. The Tigers fell to Dartmouth and did not lose another league game. But the Big Green only lost one as well and since the two tied at 5-1-1, Dartmouth got the NCAA bid as Ivy champion due to its victory over Princeton.
Players have come and gone from both teams since then so, despite what occurred last season, Princeton coach Jim Barlow isn't looking at Saturday's game as any bigger than any other Ivy contest.
