For the first time in eight years, Princeton left Dartmouth with a win, and it took overtime to get it. Though Princeton outshot Dartmouth 17-10 overall and 9-5 on goal, Dartmouth had the edge in corners, 8-4, getting goals off two of those. After the second weekend of Ivy League play, the win keeps Princeton at the top along with Harvard, which rolled past Yale 4-0 Saturday. Cornell, with a win and a tie, is two points back and is the only other Ivy-unbeaten team. |

• Princeton was the first team to score more than one goal against Dartmouth this season, scoring three. • Princeton last scored as many as three goals against Dartmouth in 2004, a 4-1 win in Princeton. The last time Princeton scored three goals in Hanover was 1983. • Freshman Mimi Asom's two-goal game was the first of her career. Asom has piled up 10 points over her last four games. • Sophomore Natalie Larkin scored her fourth goal of the season and first golden goal. Coupled with her goal against Yale last Saturday, she scored in back-to-back games for the first time in her career. • The last time Princeton had two golden-goal wins in one season was 2012, against Yale and La Salle. The Tigers also beat William & Mary in OT this season. |
