• The Tigers' six-game win streak is the program's longest since 2012, and they'll put it on the line Saturday at Brown in a 3:30 p.m. start. Princeton is 2-0 in the Ivy for the 11th time since Ivy round-robin play began in 1982, and a win would put Princeton at 3-0 for the ninth time in that span.
• Princeton received 18 votes in the most recent NSCAA national poll, the first time the Tigers received votes in the national poll since the end of the 2012 season. The Tigers are also No. 1 in the Mid-Atlantic Region for the first time since Oct. 2012.
• Princeton rolled past Brown 5-0 in their last meeting, last Oct. 11 at Roberts Stadium, with two goals coming from Haley Chow and three from Tyler Lussi. The Tigers last trip to Providence, however, was a 2-0 win for the Bears, and the Tigers haven't won in Providence since 2009. Both teams figure to have new keepers than the last meeting, with Princeton's Darcy Hargadon '15 having graduated and Brown's top keeper this year, Christine Etzel, a freshman.
• Junior Tyler Lussi picked up an assist Wednesday night for her fourth of the year and 20th point this season, and her pursuit of a climb up Princeton's all-time goals list will continue Saturday. With 36 total goals, she's tied for fourth all-time in Princeton career history with Jen Hoy '13. Lussi is three back of Emily Behncke '06 (39), five back of Linda DeBoer '86 (41) and 11 back of record holder Esmeralda Negron '05 (47) with more than a season still to play.
• Brown senior Erin Katz has three of the Bears' eight goals this year with five teammates each contributing a goal. The Bears are looking to break a scoreless streak that stands at 310 minutes since an OT winner from Katz on Sept. 23 against Sacred Heart. Scoreless ties followed against Dartmouth and Bryant before a 1-0 loss at Columbia.
• While goals haven't come easy for the Bears this season, Brown also hasn't given up many lately. Aside from a 6-1 loss to Delaware back on Sept. 6, Brown hasn't allowed more than two goals in a game and given up just one goal over the last three games.
• Speaking of Delaware, the Blue Hens are the only non-conference common opponent between the Tigers and the Bears, and Delaware's also the last team to beat Princeton. The Blue Hens took a 1-0 win out of Roberts Stadium on Sept. 10, four days after defeating Brown in Newark, 6-1. Dartmouth is the only Ivy opponent both teams have faced as of yet, with Princeton winning in Hanover 3-2 in OT last weekend and the Big Green and the Bears tying 0-0 two weekends ago.
• This is Princeton's first 2-0 Ivy start in an odd-numbered year - a note of significance since Princeton's three longest Ivy trips, to Harvard, Brown and Dartmouth, all come in odd-numbered years - since 2007. The Tigers will look for a different ending in 2015 than eight years ago, as that year Princeton started 3-0 in the Ivy but finished 1-3. The last Ivy title to come in an odd-numbered year was 2001, and the team's last four Ivy titles (2002, '04, '08, '12) have come in even years.
• Princeton hasn't been outshot by an opponent since Sept. 3 vs. Rutgers, the only time Princeton was outshot this season. Princeton's streak of not being outshot is now at eight games, with the Tigers winning that stat seven times and tying (W&M, 11) once.
• Princeton's 2-1 OT win on Sept. 20 over No. 23 William & Mary was the Tigers' first over an NSCAA-ranked team since defeating No. 21 West Virginia 2-1 in the first round of the 2012 NCAA tournament. It was Princeton's first home win over an NSCAA-ranked team since defeating No. 15 Washington in the 2004 NCAA quarterfinals.
• For the third straight week, Mimi Asom won the Ivy Rookie of the Week award on Oct. 5, this time for scoring two goals in Princeton's win at Dartmouth. She's the first player in the award's history to win three straight weeks.
• Freshman Noelani Kong-Johnson had her first career start in goal and junior midfielder Sarah Mendenhall had her first career start Wednesday night against Army West Point. In another first, freshman Samantha McDonough had her first career goal in the game, one of four Tigers to score the team's four goals.
• Sophomore Natalie Larkin, who didn't score last season but had six assists, scored the game-winning goal in overtime at Dartmouth for her fourth goal of the season. That's the third-most goals on the team so far this fall.
• Freshman Mimi Asom scored her seventh goal of the season Wednesday night against Army West Point, and she's enjoying one of the stronger freshman seasons in program history. Lussi had 10 goals as a freshman two years ago, a total that was the most in the program since 1982, when Linda DeBoer '86 had 12, the most scored by a Princeton freshman.
• Sixteen Tigers have started a game this season with five players starting all 11 games. Only one of those five - Emily Sura - is a senior.
• With Noelani Kong-Johnson starting Wednesday against Army West Point, it was the first time this season that junior goalkeeper Hannah Winner didn't start, instead getting the evening off. Over the first 10 games, Winner had played all but two halves of two games. Her 816 minutes are almost quadruple her previous single-season best, topping her 218 minutes from last season.
