Women's Tennis Posts Strong First Day at Navy Invitational

Princeton's three-player contingent at the Navy Blue & Gold Invitational was perfect Friday in Annapolis, with Sara Goodwin, Caroline Joyce and Amber Park combining for a 5-0 record between singles and doubles.
In singles play, Goodwin and Joyce won their Round of 16 matches in the "A" draw in straight sets, while Park took hers in a tiebreaker. Park and Goodwin are one win Saturday from meeting in the semifinals, with Joyce in the other half of the draw.
Park and Goodwin are Princeton's only doubles pair and won two matches to reach Saturday's semifinal round.
