PRINCETON, N.J. (11/2/15) - The final men's soccer non-conference game of the season sees Drexel visiting Princeton on Tuesday night. Game time is at 7 p.m., on Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium.
Princeton holds a 3-2-1 edge in the all-time series with Drexel, and has won the last four games - all by shutout. Last year the Tigers took a 1-0 game in Philadelphia thanks to a Thomas Sanner penalty kick.
Princeton is 7-5-2 on the season and 4-2-1 when playing at home. The Tigers lost a 2-1 Ivy League match to Cornell here on Saturday. Offensively the squad is lead by the league's leading scorer Sanner. He has 11 goals and four assists for 26 points, and has scored five of Princeton's seven game-winning goals. Senior Nico Hurtado followed with three goals and three assists, while freshman Jeremy Colvin has two goals and four helpers. Senior Ben Hummel owns every decision and has a 1.63 goals against average and a .681 save percentage.
The Dragons are 3-14-1 on the season and most recently defeated Northeastern 1-0 on Saturday. One of Drexel's wins was a 1-0 game over Penn, Princeton's next opponent, back on Sept. 12. Colin McGlynn is Drexel's leading scorer with nine points on a team-leading four goals and one assist. Francisco Palma has two goals and one assist for five points and has taken 25 percent of his team's shots (40 of 161).
