Fencing Teams Combine For Six Wins in Season Opener at Penn

The 2015-16 season got underway Saturday for the Princeton fencing teams, with the men taking two of five matches at the Penn Elite Invitational and the women taking four of six.
The women's team beat Northwestern, North Carolina, NJIT and Johns Hopkins while losing to Columbia and Notre Dame, while the men beat NJIT and North Carolina while losing to Ohio State, Columbia and Notre Dame.
Junior Ashley Tsue led the women's team with a 15-3 record, with freshman Charlene Liu going 14-4 and senior Isabel Ford going 13-5. Rodney Chen led the men with an 11-4 mark with Jack Hudson going 9-2.
Princeton's results from the event are below. The Tigers will head back to the strips Sunday, Dec. 6 for the Sacred Heart Duals.
