November 05, 2015 | Women's Tennis
Just two tournaments remain for the Princeton women's tennis team before the fall season concludes, and the Tigers will compete in one of those final two this weekend at the College of Charleston Tennis Classic.
Princeton's players will face those from Marshall, Winthrop and host College of Charleston over the three-day event beginning Friday morning at 9:30. The Tigers will face players from Marshall in doubles at that time, followed by doubles against Winthrop players at 10:30 and singles against College of Charleston players at 2:30 p.m.
Saturday, Princeton will open with doubles against players from the College of Charleston at 9:30 and singles against players from Winthrop at 10:30. Sunday, action will wrap with singles against players from Marshall at 9:30 a.m.
The event comes a week before the team is scheduled to complete its fall season at the Lakewood Tennis Classic in Sarasota, Fla. Princeton's players have competed in five tournaments so far this fall, most recently at the Georgia Invitational three weekends ago where the Tigers lined up against players from Michigan, Georgia and Clemson.
