| Game Summary |
|
Princeton's only 0-0 game of the season was the one that kept the team from a perfect Ivy League season, as Penn managed a scoreless tie with the newly-ranked No. 24 Tigers. The Tigers outshot the Quakers 14-10 overall and 6-4 on goal in pursuit of the program's third-ever 7-0-0 Ivy League season, but instead the dual shutouts put Princeton at 6-0-1 for the first time. Princeton entered the game having already clinched the Ivy League's automatic NCAA bid and the outright Ivy title. The Tigers received the Ivy trophy in a postgame presentation. |
