Fencers Combine For 10 Wins on First Day at Northwestern

Princeton's men's and women's fencing teams combined to go 10-3 on the first day of the Northwestern Duals. The event will wrap Sunday.
Princeton's third-ranked women's team counted wins over No. 5 Ohio State, Wayne State, Fairleigh Dickinson, North Carolina and Stanford, while the Tiger women came up just one win short against No. 1 Notre Dame, 14-13
The seventh-ranked men fell to No. 2 Notre Dame and No. 3 Ohio State but concluded the day with wins over Wayne State, Northwestern, Air Force, No. 10 Stanford and UC San Diego.
Princeton's results from Saturday are below. Sunday's matches will begin at 8 a.m. when the women face Caltech.
