Kang, Osborne Pick Up Another Trinity Win, Though Tigers Fall 7-2
February 14, 2015 | Men's Squash
Osborne saw a very familiar foe in Miled Zarazua, as that duo met during the first shift of the 2012 national final. Osborne won that day — only his second win in 10 tries against Zarazua at that point — and he won Saturday as well. The Tiger All-America won in three games to give the Tigers their first win of the afternoon.
Kang followed suit, overcoming an early loss to Vrishab Kotian to close his match with a 3-1 victory.
The Trinity depth was too much the rest of the way, as the Bantams were in control for most of the afternoon. Freshman Abhimanyu Shah pushed his opponent to five games before falling at the No. 7 spot.
Princeton will wait to learn its fate for the national team championships early next week. The Tigers fell to No. 9 in the latest rankings, despite the fact that they own head-to-head wins against both No. 7 Franklin & Marshall and No. 8 Penn.
