No. 13 Men's Volleyball Sweeps Coker To Run Win Streak To Five

The 13th-ranked Princeton men's volleyball team ran its win streak to five matches Friday night and was able to give several reserves some significant experience in a 3-0 home win over Coker College.
Princeton, which is nationally ranked for the first time since the conclusion of the 1998 season, improved to 6-4 on the season with a 25-22, 25-18, 25-18 win over the Cobras.
Junior outside Devin Stearns, a second-team All-EIVA selection last season, paced the offense with seven kills on 12 swings without an error (.583), while freshman Kendall Ratter added eight kills. Both Stearns and All-EIVA libero Tony Ensbury recorded five digs, while sophomore Jonah May took advantage of a starting role with 33 assists.
Freshman Mike Fuerst made his home debut with five kills, five blocks and two service aces, while sophomore Kurt Thiemann came off the bench and added five kills. Junior Mike Bagnell had six kills and four blocks in the win.
Princeton will return to EIVA play next Friday night when it hosts EIVA semifinalist George Mason at 7 pm.
