• Lee Amphitheater was very good to Princeton on March 12, 2011, when Douglas Davis '12 hit one of the most memorable shots in Princeton history to send the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament, but it hasn't been good to the Tigers since, as Princeton takes a three-game skid at Yale into the 2015 visit.
• At 12-13, the five remaining regular-season games will help Princeton determine if it can keep its overall winning-season streak alive. Princeton has a five-year streak of winning seasons, the co-longest in the Ivy alongside Harvard, which had an even record in 2009 while Princeton was one game under. The Tigers stand at 5-4 in the Ivy, and Princeton's six-year streak of winning Ivy seasons is the longest active in the league, one longer than Harvard's streak.
• The Tigers are the only team in the Ivy that can return all five starters next season, as defined by the five players with the most starts for each team this season. Princeton's seniors have accounted for 15.7 percent of the team's points entering the weekend, the second-lowest percentage in the Ivy and higher than only Penn, at 11.3 percent. The other six percentages, in ascending order, are Brown (18.7), Dartmouth (23.2), Columbia (25.4), Yale (47.1), Harvard (50.7) and Cornell (62.9).
• Amir Bell enters the weekend second on the team in assists, with 65, two behind Spencer Weisz. If Bell finishes the season leading the team in assists, he'd be the first freshman to lead the team in that category since 2006-07, when Marcus Schroeder '10 had a team-best 87 helpers.
• The Tigers take 47 percent of their field goal tries from beyond the arc and have taken 579 total 3-point attempts this year. A year ago, Princeton rolled past the previous record of 681, set by Mitch Henderson's senior-year team in 1998, hoisting 774 3s last season.
• Princeton has made more 3-pointers than its opponent in 14 of the last 18 games after doing so in just two of the first seven games. The Tigers were 2-5 over the first seven, then 10-8 over the last 18.
• The change in year has been a positive change for the Tigers during Mitch Henderson's tenure. In the pre-New Year portion of Henderson's four seasons, the Tigers have a record of 27-25 for a .519 winning percentage. From New Year's Day forward, the Tigers under Henderson are 43-20 with a .683 winning percentage.
• This is the first time since 2010, when Princeton went 4-0 doing so, that Princeton will have taken the two New England road trips back-to-back. It's also the second straight year that Princeton will face Yale and Brown twice in three weekends.
• Princeton shot a combined 52.5 percent in the home weekend against Brown and Yale earlier this month. The team shot 52.9 percent against Brown, then 52.1 percent against Yale. The difference was in the defense, where the Tigers allowed Brown just a 34.8 percent clip but Yale shot 58.3 percent, including 46.2 percent (6-13) from distance.
• Princeton leads the Ivy in field goal percentage (.454), 3-point FG percentage (.375), and defensive rebounding percentage (.736).
• Princeton's probable starting lineup includes no seniors, but junior Hans Brase, sophomores Steven Cook, Spencer Weisz and Henry Caruso, and freshman Amir Bell. Of Yale's 135 starts this season, all have gone to juniors or seniors with 82 going to seniors. Brown starts senior Rafael Maia but has given 82 of its 135 starts to freshmen or sophomores.
• Through Monday's games, Princeton ranked 19th in the nation in 3s per game at 8.7. The team ranked in the national top 100 in seven statistical categories, with its next-highest ranking at 37th in total 3-pointers made at 217. Between them, Hans Brase, Pete Miller, Spencer Weisz and Steven Cook were included in the national rankings (approximately the national top 250 players in each category) 10 times. Hans Brase had the highest ranking, at 39th in defensive rebounds per game (6.2) and an 84th-best 7.7 rebounds per game, while Steven Cook was also in the top 100 with an 87th-best 1.75 steals per game.
• Four of Princeton's top five scorers on average are non-seniors, including sophomore Spencer Weisz, junior Hans Brase, sophomore Steven Cook, and freshman Amir Bell, with sophomore Pete Miller 0.08 ppg behind senior Clay Wilson for fifth. The last time the Tigers finished the season with no seniors among the top five in scoring was 2009-10, when sophomore Douglas Davis, junior Dan Mavraides, freshman Ian Hummer, junior Kareem Maddox and sophomore Patrick Saunders were in the top five.
• While seniors Ben Hazel and Clay Wilson are regular rotation players, seniors have accounted for just 20.3 percent of minutes and 17.9 percent of the points this season on the whole.
• Sophomore Spencer Weisz is leading the team in scoring at 12.0 ppg, 21 points in front of junior Hans Brase. The last sophomore (or younger) to end the season leading the team in scoring was in the 2009-10 season when Douglas Davis '12 averaged 12.7 ppg. Since: Kareem Maddox '11 in 2010-11, Ian Hummer '13 in 2011-12 and 2012-13, and T.J. Bray '14 in 2013-14.
• In 58 Ivy League seasons, Princeton has posted 52 winning Ivy seasons, four 7-7 finishes and just two losing records.

• Yale can still win the Ivy by winning out, but its first NCAA Tournament bid since 1962 will require both a win over Harvard when the teams meet in Cambridge on March 6 and a win in a playoff, if neither team loses any other games.
• Yale leads the Ivy in scoring offense (68.8 ppg), rebounding defense (30.4 rpg allowed), rebounding margin (+5.6 rpg), assists (14.3 apg), assist-to-turnover ratio (1.1), offensive rebounds (11.7 orpg) and offensive rebounding percentage (.357). Senior Matt Townsend is the Ivy's top shooter at a .547 clip from the field, while Javier Duren leads the league in assists at 4.2 apg and Jack Montague is the best 3-point shooter at a .450 clip.
• Through Monday's games, Yale was in the national top 100 in 13 statistical categories, led by its 26th-best rebounding margin of +5.6 rpg. Justin Sears, Jack Montague and Javier Duren were in the national top 250 a combined 19 times with Sears ranking 30th at 2.5 blocks per game.
• Brown leads the Ivy in rebounding offense (36.8 rpg) and defensive rebounds (26.2 drpg). Rafael Maia is the league's top rebounder at 8.3 rpg and top offensive rebounder at 3.3 orpg, while Cedric Kuakumensah is the league's top shot blocker at 2.7 bpg.
• Through Monday's games, Brown was in the national top 100 in seven statistical categories, led by a 31st-best 26.2 defensive rebounds per game. Six Brown players were in the national top 250 statistically, led by Cedric Kuakumensah's 20th-best 2.7 blocks per game.

| Mitch Henderson '98 is in his fourth season as Princeton's head coach. His overall record at Princeton is 70-45. Under Henderson, Princeton is 39-11 at home, 33-18 in the Ivy League, and 21-5 in the Ivy League at home. Princeton is 55-15 when leading at the half under Henderson. Henderson is the first Princeton coach since John Thompson III '88 (2000-04) to have winning seasons in each of his first three campaigns. He is the sixth Princeton coach to accomplish that, following Frederick Luehring (1912-20), Butch van Breda Kolff '44 (1962-67), Pete Carril (1967-96), Bill Carmody (1996-2000) and Thompson III '88 (2000-04). Henderson is in seventh place on the Princeton all-time wins list, having surpassed John Thompson III '88 with the win over Brown on Feb. 13, 2014. Bill Carmody, who was a Princeton assistant for Henderson's first two seasons and head coach for Henderson's last two, is in sixth place with 92 wins. Carmody hired Henderson as an assistant coach at Northwestern in 2000, where Henderson remained for 11 seasons until coming to Princeton. Henderson was a second-team All-Ivy Leaguer in 1998, an honorable mention All-Ivy Leaguer in 1997, and was a two-time Ivy Rookie of the Week in 1994-95. Henderson graduated as the fourth-leading assist man in program history (kept since 1974-75) and is now sixth, having been surpassed by two of his players, Ian Hummer '13 and T.J. Bray '14. Henderson graduated fifth in career steals (kept since 1974-75) and is now ninth, having been passed by former teammate Gabe Lewullis '99, current San Diego Padre Will Venable '05, Marcus Schroeder '10 and his former player T.J. Bray '14. Henderson is one of six Princeton alumni who are current Division I head coaches, including John Thompson III '88 (Georgetown), Joe Scott '87 (Denver), Mike Brennan '94 (American), Chris Mooney '94 (Richmond) and Sydney Johnson '97 (Fairfield). |
