Mar. 12 TigerCast: Blake Dietrick & Milena Flores Talk Perfect 30-0 Season
March 12, 2015 | General, Women's Basketball
Following their historic 30-0 season, senior point guard Blake Dietrick and assistant coach Milena Flores have joined the latest edition of TigerCast to look back on the run to an Ivy championship, and to look forward to the NCAA Tournament.
Dietrick leads Princeton in both points and assists, and she is the lone senior starter on a team that has moved to 13th in the latest national rankings. A former First-Team All-Ivy honoree, Dietrick was named to the Nancy Lieberman Watch List for the Nation's Top Point Guard. She discusses the balance on both sides of the ball and dealing with both the pressure of the season and the significant media interest the team has generated.
Flores is in her eighth season on the Princeton coaching staff, a stretch that has included five Ivy League championships. Her playing career included a trip to the NCAA Final Four with Stanford, and now the longest-tenured member of Courtney Banghart's coaching staff is hoping to help Princeton make a run in the postseason.
