Women's Golf, Lippetz Stand Atop Leaderboard in South Carolina

Princeton's women's golf team is tied for the team lead at the Low Country Intercollegiate and sophomore Jordan Lippetz leads the field heading into the event's final round Sunday at Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head Island, S.C.
The Tigers and host Wofford each finished at +21 after Saturday's round, just two shots in front of High Point with Savannah College of Art and Desigh four shots back of Princeton and Wofford and Indiana State and Bethune-Cookman each six shots back.
Lippetz's lead, following her 1-over round, is by one shot over Danielle Fuss of High Point and a trio of players at +3. Lippetz had three bogeys and six pars on the front nine but heated up after the turn, getting four birdies and two bogeys to go with three pars.
All eight Tigers on the roster are competing, with Lippetz, freshmen Caroline Araskog and Tenley Shield, sophomore Hana Ku and junior Alex Wong in Princeton's scoring five and juniors Sydney Kersten and Christine Kong and senior Mary Funk playing as individuals.
Play will begin at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
