La Guardia Named Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Week

Princeton freshman Ashley La Guardia has been named the Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Week for softball and the Corvias ECAC Softball Rookie of the Week for Division I Metro/Upstate after another busy week in the circle.
Princeton played 10 games over spring break and La Guardia threw in seven of them, accruing a 1.38 ERA with a 2-3 record. She pitched 25 1/3 of Princeton's 66 innings on the trip.
Princeton went 4-6 on the trip and five of the team's six losses came by one run.
This is La Guardia's second Ivy Rookie of the Week award. She was also honored March 3.
The Tigers are due to head to Monmouth Wednesday for a single game starting at 4 p.m. before returning home to face Yale and Brown Friday and Saturday to start the Ivy League season.
