Lippetz, Women's Golf Contending at Brown Invite

Jordan Lippetz is tied for first and the Princeton women's golf team is a close second after the first of two rounds at the Brown Invitational at Metacomet Country Club in East Providence, Rhode Island Sunday.
All four of Princeton's scorers shot a 76 or better, putting Princeton just two shots behind Yale with 18 holes to play tomorrow. Lippetz is one of four players who had a first-round 72 with two more players turning in a 73.
Princeton has finished each of its first two tournaments of the spring either first or second, and the Brown Invite is Princeton's last event before the Ivy League Championship on the final weekend of the month. Monday's round will begin at 10 a.m.
