April 23 TigerCast: Erika DeSanty & Alex Dombrowski
April 23, 2015 | General, Men's Golf, Women's Golf
As both head to Saucon Valley Country Club to compete for the 2015 Ivy League Championships in golf, women's head coach Erika DeSanty and sophomore men's player Alex Dombrowski join the latest edition of TigerCast.
DeSanty is in her first year as head coach after a successful five-year stint at Williams College. The women's team placed second at the Ivy Championships last year, and returns a handful of young players ready to make a championship statement this weekend. DeSanty discusses her first year at Princeton, as well as the importance of a successful showing at Saucon Valley last fall.
Dombrowski may only be a sophomore, but he will be one of the most experienced men's players at the Ivy Championships. The men's team has been led by underclassmen this season, and they have tested themselves against loaded fields throughout the year. Dombrowski discusses the journey from the 2014 Championships to this year, as well as how he will handle a course he'll play for the first time in a Thursday practice round.
TigerCast, presented by PNC Bank, is the official podcast of Princeton Athletics. Previous episodes of TigerCast can be downloaded for free anytime at GoPrincetonTigers.com.
