Three Tigers Earn All-Ivy as Women's Golf Places Fourth

Junior Alex Wong and sophomores Jordan Lippetz and Hana Ku each earned All-Ivy League honors as the Ivy League women's golf championships came to a close Sunday with Princeton finishing fourth as a team on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Wong finished in a three-way tie for fourth at +14, three shots back of Brown's Christine Kim and Marika Liu of Yale at +11 before Kim defeated Liu on the first playoff hole for medalist honors. The finish gives Wong first-team All-Ivy League honors, while Lippetz and Ku earned second-team honors, tying for eighth and 11th at +15 and +16.
The honors are the first for Lippetz and Wong, who came close last year by tying for 13th and 16th, and the second for Ku, who was a second-team All-Ivy Leaguer last year by tying for seventh in her first visit to the Ivy Championships. All five Tigers in this year's field can return, with Wong the veteran of the group as a junior alongside sophomores Lippetz and Ku and freshmen Caroline Araskog and Tenley Shield.
Harvard had 923 strokes as a team over the three-day tournament to win the event, and it couldn't have afforded one more if it wanted to avoid a playoff with Yale, as the Crimson won at +59 to +60 for the Bulldogs.
