Tigers, Ku Finish Runner-Up at Seton Hall Pirate Invite
April 03, 2015 | Women's Golf
Sophomore Hana Ku finished second overall at the Seton Hall Pirate Invitational and so did the Princeton women's golf team as the tournament wrapped Friday at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J.
Princeton was first among four Ivy League teams in the field, eight shots behind winner Georgia and six shots in front of third-place finisher Columbia with Penn fourth and Yale tied for seventh.
An ivy Leaguer was atop the individual leaderboard with Columbia's Camilla Vik at -2, two shots in front of Ku at even par. Vik had the only round under par with a 69 Thursday before shooting a 73 Friday. Ku was consistent with a 72 each day as she and Vik had three of just five rounds at or under par in the tournament.
Princeton has finished in the top two in each of its two tournaments this spring, winning the Low Country Intercollegiate in South Carolina on March 22. The Brown Invitational is next, April 12-13 in East Providence, R.I., Princeton's last tournament before the Ivy League Championship on the last weekend of the month.
