Game Summary

Princeton had outshot its last two opponents - Duquesne and Delaware - each by better than two to one but came out with defeats. Sunday morning at Villanova, Princeton kept pouring on the shots, but this time left with the win as well.

Natalie Larkin fired a laser across the box from 20 yards out to put Princeton on the board in the 13th minute, and Princeton scored twice in 30 seconds late in the first half on the way to a 3-1 win. Tyler Lussi fired a ball similar to Larkin's on the second goal, and Nicole Loncar knocked home a loose ball for the third. Villanova scored a 79th-minute goal to spoil the shutout.

Princeton finished with a 22-8 advantage in shots and 13-1 in corner kicks.

Game Notes

• Over the last three games, Princeton has outshot its opponents 65-22 and out-cornered its foes 30-3.

• Princeton now leads the all-time series with Villanova 16-7-1. The Tigers have won three straight in the series and are unbeaten in the last six meetings with the Wildcats.

• Junior Tyler Lussi's goal was her third of the season and 31st of her career. That total is the most among current Tigers and fifth-most in program history.
