Top-Ranked Harvard Tops Women's Squash; Tigers Will Return Jan. 30 At Penn
January 10, 2016 | Women's Squash
Rachel Leizman (No. 3), Kira Keating (No. 5) and Gabriella Garr (No. 7) each claimed individual games in their respective matches, but the Crimson won the remainder of the games in the win. It was a far different type of match than the 2015 Howe Cup semifinal, when the Crimson held off Princeton for a tense 5-4 victory in Boston.
Certainly the Howe Cup Championships next month at Yale will remain a long-term goal for the Tigers, though they have plenty of important matches prior to the team championship weekend. They will return to the courts Jan. 30 in Philadelphia to take on the second-ranked Quakers.
