Those are the first two of 20 dual matches for the Tigers, who will make trips to Texas, Ohio and Kentucky, and California before the Ivy League season begins April 1 at Penn.
Thirteen teams ranked by the ITA on the final postseason list are on Princeton's dual-match schedule, and the Tigers will see three of them on their trip to Texas in early February, including No. 75 UT Arlington (Feb. 1), No. 19 Texas A&M (Feb. 2) and No. 34 Rice (Feb. 3). The Tigers will return home to face Wake Forest, ranked No. 29 at the end of last season, Feb. 5.
The ECAC Tournament at Harvard will follow Feb. 10-12 with a match against Rutgers in Jadwin coming next on Feb. 15. Then, the Tigers will head out to face two more teams ranked at the end of last season, going to No. 70 Xavier and No. 24 Kentucky Feb. 25-26. The team's final match before the spring trip will send the Tigers to Maryland on Mar. 5.
Princeton's final matches before the Ivy season commences will happen on the spring trip to Southern California, with Princeton taking on Cal State Northridge (Mar. 20), San Diego (Mar. 23) and San Diego State (Mar. 24).
Finally, the sprint to decide the Ivy League champion will run Apr. 1-23, with Princeton going to Penn (Apr. 1), Columbia (Apr. 9), Harvard (Apr. 22) and Dartmouth (Apr. 23), and welcoming Cornell (Apr. 7), Yale (Apr. 14) and Brown (Apr. 15).
