Six Tigers Earn All-Ivy League Honors

Tyler Lussi, Jesse McDonough, Mimi Asom, Natalie Larkin, Abby Givens and Vanessa Gregoire earned All-Ivy League women's soccer honors, tying Princeton for the most in the league with Harvard and Columbia.
A first-team honoree at forward, senior Lussi led the Tigers and was second in the league with 10 goals, finishing her career with 53 goals as the Ivy's highest-scoring player since 1988. Her 24 points this season, which gave her 122 for her career, the second-highest total in the past 28 years. Lussi completes her career with three first-team All-Ivy honors and four for her career, along with an honorable mention recognition as a freshman. She was also the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year in 2014 and 2015 and is the first Princeton player to earn three first-team All-Ivy League honors since Emily Behncke '06 from 2003-05.
Also a first-team honoree at defender, senior McDonough had five assists this season, the second-most of her career in a single campaign, to earn All-Ivy League recognition for the first time.
A second-team honoree at forward, sophomore Asom was second on the team with nine goals, following up her Ivy League Rookie of the Year and second-team All-Ivy League recognition from last year.
Also a second-team honoree at midfield, junior Larkin was a second-team honoree last year and had a goal and two assists this season.
An honorable mention, junior Gregoire was tied for third on the team with three goals, adding four assists. The All-Ivy recognition was her third, along with a first-team honor last year and an honorable mention as a freshman.
Also an honorable mention, freshman Givens had three goals and three assists in her rookie season, tying with Tomi Kennedy for the most goals among Princeton freshmen.
The Tigers finished their season Nov. 5 at 10-4-3, giving Princeton 24 wins over the last two seasons.
